CRYS RETREAT #40: "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord"

March 26th - 28th 2010
6 p.m. on Friday until 4 p.m. on Sunday
Mt. Claret Retreat Center

Cost: $75 per person - includes lodging and all meals

CRYS BIBLE STUDY

CRYS is excited to host the sequel to the Great Adventure Bible Timeline, The Great Adventures in Matthew! This two-year course presented on DVD will take us through the 28 chapters of St. Matthew's Gospel. We will view the hour-long Bible study, followed by a 30-minute presentation from a featured guest, and close with 30 minutes of group discussion.

When: 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Diocese of Phoenix 
400 East Monroe, downtown Phoenix

Be sure to park in the Diocesan parking garage (if it's a game day, just mention you're there for the CRYS Bible Study). The garage is located just south of Van Buren on 5th Street. It's a bit tricky to find, so click here to get directions.

ROSARY & FELLOWSHIP

Where: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church

We meet in the Adoration chapel. OLPH is located on Miller Road, just South of Indian School, where Miller is between Scottsdale Road and Hayden.

Please join us for this monthly gathering. We usually head out to dinner following the Rosary.

Taize Prayer

When: March 10th, 6:45pm
Where: St Mary's Basilica

Come join us as we join the Franciscan community in this lovely contemplative prayer of the Taize community. In the midst of flickering votive lights and chanting sacred song, we are invited to relax in the presence of the Lord and to pray for peace and reconciliation.

CRYS Rummage Sale and Silent Auction

  Rise and shine, Church! CRYS would like to invite you to support our first ever Rummage Sale and Silent Auction.

  Here's how you can help:

  1. Donate your gently-used items at one of two drop-off points from 6pm - 8pm
- 3/3 at St. Daniel the Prophet
- 3/17 at St. Jerome

  2. Come on out to Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery on Saturday, March 20th between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. There will be coffee, snacks, live music, along with great items generously donated from the CRYS community.

  There will also be the following silent auction items for bidding:

CRYS GAME NIGHTS
Please join the CRYS community on Monday evenings as we meet for Holy Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle (24th Street & Campbell) at 5:30p.m. Following Holy Mass, we'll head over to the Fuddruckers (20th Street and Highland--click here for a map) for cards and conversation!

It's a great way to get a great start on a brand new week! Come meet some new friends, learn a new game of cards or just hang out!

  Help the CRYS community by praying at home!

Join the group praying on the CRYS E-mail prayer chain. You will receive an e-mail once or twice a week with prayer intentions. The form and frequency of praying for the intentions is up to you. Send an e-mail to john.villapudua@ cox.net to join the CRYS community of prayer. You do not need to be on the prayer chain to submit a prayer intention.
